Capcom is taking another of its previously console only titles and polishing it up nice for PC. This time that title is Dragon’s Dogman: Dark Arisen which is coming with all the additional DLC included. The upgraded PC port bring in 60fps, 4K Support, Steam Achievements, Xbox 360 and Xbox One controller support along with Keyboard and Mouse support for the low price of $29.99. That’s a pretty stacked package minus the 4K support, I’m glad they are all about supporting resolutions but we really need to stop putting some arbitrary limit on resolutions already. The fact sheet mentions high resolution graphics so I would expect and upgrade from the console versions but right now 4K or 3840×2160 is just a bullet point until we get some comparison screenshots.
Besides the little 4K quibble, the rest of the Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen package seems stacked. You get all the original Dragon’s Dogma content plus all it’s DLC and then you get all the Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen content plus all of it’s DLC including the Bitterblack Isle area which includes new enemies, quests and high level weapons and armor sets. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen has a pretty solid 80/8.2 score on Metacritic so barring any unforseen complications I would say it’s a solid choice if you are looking for a new fantasy RPG to kick some ass in. You’ll be able to carve out your dark legacy come January 15, 2016 on Steam.
