After it’s run on Kickstarter, Strafe is coming along exactly how we have hoped it would. The 90’s era advertising along with the graphics, speed and attitude the game is showing off is the perfect kind of nostalgia trip we are really looking forward to right now. Considering all the retro pixelated games we’ve been seeing it’s nice to see someone take a stab at resurrecting the 64-bit era of gaming with a somewhat nicer coat of paint but keeping the sharp edges we’ve long since forgotten about. Besides the enhanced graphical fidelity Strafe is also flirting with procedurally generated levels and adding in VR support which considering it’s 90’s roots is just further icing on the nostalgia cake.
