Old school Castlevania fans surely smiled with delight when hearing “that’s your father’s Simon”, Simon, as a boy, sweet! If the trailer is any indication Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate sure looks to be giving us great amounts of back story which is great for old school and new players alike. We can’t wait to get into more vampire slaying family bloodline twisting action and March 5th 2013 in North America and March 8th 2013 in Europe are the dates you’ll want to stay up past the witching hour if you want to be one of the first in your country to play more Belmont family action.

KONAMI unveils launch date and new trailer for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate
Highly anticipated action adventure title comes to Nintendo 3DSTM system on March 8th in Europe
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. today announced that Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate will be available on March 8th, 2013 across Europe, exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS™ system.
A new trailer for the action packed title has also been released, featuring Trevor Belmont’s story. Dracula’s return is explained during an emotional farewell between Trevor and his son, Simon. Trevor reveals his quest for vengeance of his mother’s murder at the hands of his father (Gabriel Belmont/Dracul), and gives Simon a pendant that contains a piece of the Mirror of Fate.
Developed by Mercury Steam, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fatetakes place 25 years after the events of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and is a precursor to the highly anticipated and recently announced Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Windows PC.
