As Hero Herman you’ll die every night but once you’re dead you soul will rise and can go on an adventure to raise your body back to life. Well raise it back to life until you die again the next night that is.
Using your power of fright you’ll be able to scare the living and collect their soul power. For an even bigger dose of fright activate a fright item and really scare those pesky living mortals! Be on the look out for crowds of mortals to collect a massive amount of soul power all at one time.
Don’t think you’re alone in your spectral world as their are demons hunting your ghostly form. You’ll have to use your soul power to create a vortex to try and vanish them but it would be worse if they were to vanish you. Once you’ve collected enough soul power you can finally use that to resurrect your body. Don’t think the nightmare is over as there are twenty nights to die in and over 120000 square meters of Clifftown to scare up. In The Spookening you enter Hero Herman, a poor sod who has the misfortune of dying each night. Can you change Hermans fate? By learning the rules of the world beyond, you will gain the skill and the wit to take precious soular power from the living.
