Since the fans were the ones who requested Ubisoft make a Barracks reset option for Far Cry 3 it seems only natural Ubisoft would add the same feature to the standalone expansion Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Blood Dragon after all is a huge love letter to fans who love 80’s nostalgia and ridiculousness so it only seems fitting to patch in what the fans want. So if you happen to be one of many gamer’s who have taken down every last Garrison you can flip the switch and do it all over again until INFINITY and keep the fun alive! No word on any other fixes or updates in this patch so hopefully there’s nothing else game breaking that was glossed over to push this out. If you’ve not heard a thing about Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon you can check out the tongue in cheek trailer below and yes that epic music by Powerglove is in the game so you can synth out with your gun out. Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is available for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and retails for $14.99 and plays just fine without needing Far Cry 3 just like inFamous Festival of Blood.

A NEW BLOOD DRAGON PATCH WILL ALLOW PLAYERS TO KICK EVEN MORE CYBORG ASS
London, UK, 10th July 2013 – Today Ubisoft announces the release of a new patch for Far Cry® 3 Blood Dragon, introducing a garrison Reset option. The patch is now live for Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3 and PC.
Once players have conquered every garrison in their first run, they can reset them, and face the challenge all over again. Based on the success of FC3’s Outpost reset patch, this similar patch will give players another reason to revisit the year 2007 and re-take the garrisons once more.
