We all know the latest Dungeon Keeper wasn’t the best received experience, call it anything else and it would have been fine. However this also inspires others to make a more faithful RTS dungeon building game and one such game is Underground Throne currently up on Kickstarter.
The gang over at PawByte have even scored a quote from Simon Carter one of the co-creators of Dungeon Keeper, impressive. Now all this talk of Dungeon Keeper influencing Underground Throne you might think this is a straight 1 to 1 copy but PawByte have taken influences from Code Geass and Death Note and are hoping to mix them all into one great concoction. You can check out the video to see some of their work in progress footage and then download the demo to check it out for yourself. Underground Throne ends on Wed April 9th 2014 and $10 gets you a copy of the game if you’re one of the early birds.
