If you haven’t heard by now we’re all invited to the Moon courtesy of Handsome Jack. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel puts you right smack dab between Borderlands 1 and Borderlands 2 with four all new vault hunters and on the moon no less!
That means Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will have all the fun of Borderlands 2 except this time with the low gravity cheat always enabled plus new weapons. I mean what would a Borderlands game be without some new state of the art, bang bang, right?
The new hotness or should I say coolness are ice weapons, now you can freeze those psycho morons and smash them to pieces! You also have a new move in the form of a butt stomp where you can use low gravity plus jet packs to double jump above an enemy then come crashing down on top of them, use with an ice weapon to make your ass a force to be reckoned with and mentioned in hush tones throughout the galaxy.
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is only coming to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Unfortunately there is not going to be a current gen release on Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Randy Pitchford said he was OCD about having the whole Borderlands Trilogy on the same consoles. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is also not being developed by Gearbox so I would assume you don’t want a different developer working on your IP with a brand new engine. Also I don’t doubt Randy Pitchford has OCD, have you seen his office?
