Throw Out Those Floppies, Z Gets An HD Remake On Steam

Back when all we had were magazines and the back of big games boxes to go on Command and Conquer stormed the PC landscape like the mighty Brotherhood of Nod causing an outbreak of knock-offs and clones. One of the few games to stand out after the dust settled was Z and now Z is getting the HD Remake treatment on Steam.

Z was an RTS that didn’t take itself seriously and injected humor and awesome gameplay into the RTS genre. There’s also a ton of challenges, five planets to visit each with different terrain, robots with guns, destructible terrain and thirty minutes of cut scenes, THIRTY MINUTES PEOPLE! The only downside to Z The HD Remake is that there is no multiplayer component, it’s a single player experience but it’s fast, frantic and above all fun. And if you want to dive back into multiplayer you can always check out the free fan created Zod Engine.
