World of Speed is looking like a mighty fine reflection simulator. There’s also something about cars going fast through city streets and players setting up their own motor clubs. But look at these screenshots, gleaming head and tail lights, glossy pain, reflective windows, even the exhaust pipes must have 7 coats of wax on them and more lens flair than a JJ Abrams epic blockbuster.
This is what makes up your World of Speed people, the graphics that are smoother than a can of Slick 50. Even the little bit of crowd shown off doesn’t look half bad. Slightly Mad Studios is looking to bring World of Speed to PC sometime before the end of this year, hopefully it will play as well as it looks. In World of Speed, a new generation racing game, team races play a very important part. Players can set up motor clubs where team members are assigned different roles in races. As a club the players can also capture entire cities in Territory Battles.
For their garage, players can choose from a variety of automobiles from the likes of American muscle cars, European premium car brands or sports cars that they can also customise and tune. Races take place at famous locations across the globe such as London, Moscow, Côte d’Azur, Monaco, Brands Hatch and Bathurst.
World of Speed is developed by the famous Slightly Mad Studios and will be available in 2014 for PC.
