Beyond Eyes looks like a great game to sit back and have a cup of tea with. Thankfully Team17 have picked up the game and it will now be whisked away to EGX London giving everyone there their first look at the playable demo.
Beyond Eyes is the story of Rae who’s blind and has chosen to never leave her house. However one day she looses her pet feline Nani and must venture out far beyond where she has grown comfortable. I’m already loving the soundtrack combine those with the watercolor like visuals and I could kick back and explore the world of Beyond Eyes all day. Be sure to check out the trailer and all the screenshots, hopefully we’ll be hearing good things out of EGX London about the gameplay.

Team17 signs stunning Dutch indie game Beyond Eyes
16th May 2014 – Industry veteran Team17 have today announced their partnership with Netherlands based independent developer tiger & squid and together they will be releasing the beautiful exploration game Beyond Eyes onto console and home computers next year.

Beyond Eyes is a beautiful game about Rae, a blind girl who uses her remaining senses to visualize the world around her.
Rae isn’t like most other girls. She lost her eyesight in an accident and the experience left her traumatized. Fearing loud noises and public places, she hardly ever leaves her house.
However, all that changes when her feline companion Nani unfortunately goes missing. You must now guide Rae on her moving journey to be reunited with Nani and guard her from the dangers she may encounter along the way.
Beyond Eyes is due for a 2015 release on console and home computers.
