The latest video for Battlefield 3 goes over the Battlelog, your stat tracking social hub to a complete Battlefield experience. We’re kind of sad to learn that the Platoon feature seems to be just for comparing stats and as for now, at least on PC, there’s no way to squad up and connect to a server together. It still seems to be based on hope that you and your friends will be on the same team and in the same squad together but at least everyone can get on the same server now with party join. Since the whole point of Battlelog is how update-able it is hopefully features like squads and kit refinement will be made available through Battlelog in the future.
