Rochard was just a few weeks ago a PlayStation Network exclusive, now it’s getting a Steam announcement via trailer. I guess this still counts as “exclusive” in the console wars but we’re glad as more and more games come to Steam from the consoles as that opens them up to a wider audience. Rochard looks great with it’s 3D sidescrolling gravity action, kind of reminds me of early 64bit games on PlayStation 1 and Nintendo 64 and that’s always a good thing. It should be coming to Steam later this month, November 2011 but so far the Steam page has yet to show up.
