Weekly Gaming Recap is about bringing you the top stories of the week. It doesn’t matter the platform – we report on it all. Hosted by a crazy married couple, we aim to give you the highlights of everything happening in the gaming world. For our web show we pick two of the top stories in gaming each day to highlight, links to the original story are always provided. And no, obviously we’re not professionals (hard to believe right?). We just try to have fun with it. Why? Because we enjoy opening that new package from Amazon or downloading the latest and greatest game as much as you do. And as they say, you gotta do what you love in life.
Why do we do what we do?
We started this website/blog because of all the crap that seems to surround every other website/blog we visit. Everyone seems to either have some kind of agenda or beef or hate on something. We don’t want the hate, we just want the love, we love all games, big, small, AAA, indie, cheap, expensive, premium packed and downloadable only. We’re all gamers here right? Sure we might not like a game you love but we’re not here to judge you and tell you you suck or how we did this and that to your mom just because you liked a game we can’t stand. Forget all that, love your games, be happy, play the games you want to play and we’ll play the ones we want and be happy right along with you.
Nick
Nick loves games, if Nick could do nothing but play games all day he would. Nick is always online looking for news, game reviews, stories, etc. It doesn’t matter what kind of game it is and that’s why this site was started. While Nick might not like every game that comes his way he still appreciates the good ones and most of all knows you can love a bad game and hate a good game, it just depends on how you feel. If you twisted Nick’s arm and wanted to know his favorites they would be Super Mario Bros., Jackal, Captain Skyhawk and Contra for NES, Zombies Ate My Neighbors and Star Fox for the SNES, Streets of Rage and Sonic the Hedgehog on Genesis, Virtua Tennis, Power Stone, Toy Commander and Gauntlet: Legends on Dreamcast, Halo and Black on Xbox, DooM, Outlaws, Full Throttle, Carmageddon and Quake along with a crap load of others on PC.
Keri
Keri is a huge Harry Potter fanatic, bookworm, and gamer. She loves classic RPGs, RTS, simulation games, and the internet. Some of her favorite games – Baldurs Gate, Dark Wizard, ToeJam & Earl, Final Fantasy XI, Breath of Fire II, Mario RPG, Heroes of Might and Magic, and Civilization.
***WARNING*** Whatever you do, do not ask Keri play a FPS or 3D game. She will become violently ill and could possibly hurl all over you. Not exactly a pretty site. So take heed kids.
