Props to the Hard|OCP guys for getting this great 40 minute interview with Bruce Dell at Euclideon. In case you didn’t see the massive response the original Euclideon – Unlimited Detail video got basically it claims to have unlimited detail in a graphics engine, no polygons all, as they put it, little atoms. This got a been there seen that response from Notch and a “this is going to take a few years to be public consumption” from John Carmack. Here’s the video, check it out. Me, I’m still waiting to see what the finished engine does as for different objects, animation and all that but at least all the naysayers can see it is real now just what can it do?
