Alan Wake may be out for PC via digital distribution at places like Steam and Amazon however if you want a real box and DVD’s to hold you’ll have to be living in Europe or maybe order from Amazon.co.uk. Either way you’ll be getting a nice package that’s available in Special Edition and Collectors Edition formats the later obviously costing more but getting you more fun stuff. So if you love yourself some physical goods head on over and pick it up and if it’s not in your territory yet know that Remedy Entertainment is trying to get Alan Wake to retail near you but no promises.

Friday March 2nd, 2012 – The wait is over for PC gamers who today will finally be able to get their hands on the PC version of Alan Wake in both Standard and Collector’s Edition formats, courtesy of Nordic Games.
“The Nordic Games release of Alan Wake on PC shows real attention to detail and a desire to provide PC gamers with an appealing package they will want to own,” said Nik Blower, sales and marketing director, Nordic Games. “The Standard Edition offers more than a usual PC release would, while the Collector’s Edition is stuffed with fantastic material.”
Alan Wake Collector’s Edition includes two Bonus Discs crammed with exclusive content. This includes The History Of Remedy, The Making Of Alan Wake, The Making Of A Thriller, the music video “War” by the “Poets of the Fall”, several trailers to the game, all in-game cinematics with storyboard concept art, the teaser trailer of “The Signal”, the launch trailer of “The Signal”. The launch trailer of “The Writer”, as well as two more features “Building the technology” and “Building a Thriller”.
Also included is The Alan Wake Files; a 144-page publication extra with evidence on the mysterious incidents around Alan Wake and Bright Falls, compiled by the fictitious author Clay Steward.
The Standard and Collector’s Editions of Alan Wake both include the main game, with optional commentary provided by Remedy (Collector’s Edition only) and both DLCs – The Signal and The Writer – on disc one, while disc two hosts the official soundtrack, comprising 13 tracks.
Also in the box are six post cards featuring different scenes from the game, the manual, a double-sided poster and seven stickers with different scenes and characters from the game.
Alan Wake and Alan Wake Collector’s Edition are available to buy on PC today (March 2nd) priced £29.99 for the Standard Edition and £34.99 for the Collector’s Edition.
