I sucked pretty hard playing Tribes: Ascend (PC) and here I thought I had a leg up on some people as I’ve played both Tribes and Tribes 2 back in the day but oh no I failed bad. With all the modern day combat first person shooters I play now my brain just couldn’t adjust to flying through the air and skiing across the ground at warp speeds while tracking equally mobile targets. All in all I had a lot of fun with it, I would like to at least unlock some more of the features before I decide if it’s a game for me or not. That seems to be the best thing about the free to play model, just jump in and see if you like it, if not all you’ve lost is some time.
